Congratulations to Carley Hanes, Central Davidson Middle School's first recipient of the Lauren Cecil Character Award. Carley faced the challenge of beginning a new chapter in her life without her best friend to walk alongside her. We applaud her courage and strength. We commend her for demonstrating honesty, respect, responsibility, hard work and a giving spirit.
